Who runs this site
Santa Clarita Gate Installation is a small, independent referral site. It is not a gate company, not a directory of contractors, and not part of the City of Santa Clarita. It does two things: it explains the local rules that shape a gate job, and it puts homeowners in touch with one licensed gate installer who works on steel, wrought iron and electric gates in and around Santa Clarita.
How a request reaches the installer
- You call the number on the site or send the request form.
- A call rings straight through to the installer. There is no call center in between.
- A form request goes to the installer by email, with your photos. The privacy policy has the details.
- The installer gets back to you within one business day to talk through the job, and if it is a fit, looks at the site and gives you a written quote.
- Any price, contract, schedule or warranty is between you and the installer.
One installer, not a list
Your details go to one installer. They are not sent to a list of companies, so one request does not mean calls from several contractors.
What the site does not do
- It does not install, repair or sell gates. The installer does the work and deserves the credit for it.
- It does not issue permits or speak for the city. The code summaries link the section they come from, and Planning or Building and Safety has the final word on your lot.
- It does not promise that the installer will take every job, or what they will charge.
Check the installer yourself
Before you sign anything, ask the installer for their license details, a written quote and proof of insurance. You can look up any California contractor by license number, business name or personal name on the Contractors State License Board's free license check.
The code summaries
Pages on this site summarize parts of the Santa Clarita Municipal Code and link to the sections they use. The summaries are general information, not legal advice, and not a decision by the city. Codes change, and the online code can lag behind; the city amended its oak tree rules in 2026, for example. Some addresses with a Santa Clarita mailing address are in unincorporated Los Angeles County and follow county rules instead. Before any work starts, confirm the rules for your address with the city's Planning Division and Building and Safety, or with the county.
Prices, drawings and renderings
The site prints no price ranges; the pages explain what moves the cost of a gate, and only the installer can price your job after seeing it. Drawings are diagrams, not to scale, made to explain a rule or a part. Images labeled "Rendering" are computer generated illustrations of a type of gate, not photographs of a real property or of work the installer has done.
